Lost in a series

I can’t help it, I picked up Bonds of Justice, the next Nalini Singh book, and am now “lost” inside.  I am only on page 120, but it is good!!  Yea!  But that leads me to ponder my normal reading habits and I realized that I don’t normally read books in a series one after the other.  I usually need mental breaks from the world and characters or something.  That hasn’t always been the case, but it seems to be my standard practice these days.  I think part of push/pull is that I have so many series, and a to-be-read “pile” filled with so many books that I feel compelled to try something else.  Maybe my cousin reading these faster than me has ignited a competitive streak.  Who knows?

Well, regardless, the next Psy-Changeling book is really good, about a J-Psy and Max Shannon, the human cop that we met during Talin and Clay’s book.  I should be done in a day or two and will be sure to review!

So my question for you is, do you read a series until all the available books are done, or do you like to jump around?  Happy Reading everyone!

About ocdreader

I love to read! I always have a book or four going, I have more books in my to-be-read pile than I can read in a year and yet I continue to haunt the bookstores. I have a problem, but I somehow soldier on. I enjoy talking books, so pass on your recommendations and thoughts - I would love to hear them.

For me, when starting a new series that has been out a while (yes I know, I am on the slow boat here) I have to read the entire series to date. Why I have no clue?!? I’m just ocd like that. And zomg do I love the Psy/Changelings series by the awesome Nalini Singh!!!! Once again thank you for pushing me to read it!! xo
