I am very excited, I received two orchids in 2012 and BOTH of them are working on blooming again! Woo hoo! One I received in March and I cut the stalk off so a new one is now growing. The other has flowers already and I only received that in August. It was blooming when I received it and they lasted until November and now I have MORE! So the flowers came from the existing stalk and the plant is shooting out a NEW stalk on the bottom right. (there is no training that stalk upright, oh well, flowers out the side.) Obviously there is some magic happening in the kitchen window because this has nothing to do with me. I always thought you had to cut the stalk off to get more flowers – shows how much I know!

I LOVE Orchids. I am not really a girly girl but I just love flowers. Everytime I am taking pictures, its of flowers.
