I finished a couple of things this week. Supernatural Freak by Louisa Klein which was a crazy action adventure with some awesome worldbuilding. I also finished Healer’s Touch by Deb E. Howell which is the start to an epic fantasy trilogy. I loved the characters and the world. It was great and it is being released tomorrow (Jan 31st)! I can’t wait for book 2.
I am currently reading a couple of things. I can’t seem to focus on any one thing, though Feed by Mira Grant has become completely addictive and I think I will read that until I finish. Zombies and conspiracy, crazy complete worldbuilding and some well fleshed characters. My cat darted out from behind the couch and scared the hell out of me. I am jumpy. I am also reading The Sisters Brothers by Patrick DeWitt which is a kooky book about a pair of brothers who are guns for hire. Nothing goes their way and it is quite entertaining. I am also giggling my way through Baby You’re as Sweet as 3.1415926 by HogWild. It is filled with dirty anecdotes and dating advice. Some hilarious, others amusing. It is great to read when I have a few minutes and want to be diverted.
Next up, I have a few things on the list. Pies and Prejudice by Ellery Adams, a cozy mystery. The Silver Thread by Emigh Cannaday an epic fantasy. The Garden by Paul Harry which is a sci fi Adam and Eve story and The Violets of March by Sarah Jio which is our bookclub read.
