Happy Wednesday! Are you able to find time to read during this busy holiday season? Then play along with MizB and link up to let us know
- What you have finished.
- What you are reading now.
- What you are planning to read next.
I finished Forged in Dreams and Magick by Kat Bastion which was a sexy and fun time travel romp which seems like there will be a sequel. Yay! I also finished The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black, loved it! Review will be up tomorrow. Randomly I read The Good Ghouls Guide to Getting Even by Julie Kenner. It was a cute highschool vampire book. It had been sitting on my shelf a while and since it was short I read most of it while soaking in the tub. Perfect! Oh yea, and I finished A Witch’s Handbook of Kisses and Curses by Molly Harper which was a cute and fun paranormal romance.
I am currently reading Tangle of Need (Psy-Changeling, Bk 11) by Nalini Singh and I just started From a Killer’s Mind by Jason Helford and my stomach is hurting from the scenes. Pretty dang creepy.
Next up – I never know, but I think I will read Savor (Vicious Feast, Bk 1) by Kate Evangelista. My tour date is coming up soon so it makes sense and I really enjoyed Taste so I am looking forward to it. I also want to read Into the Deep by Missy Fleming, a YA mermaid type book which sounds super crazy and awesome.
What are you guys reading this week? 🙂
Looks like you’ve got a good selection of books. I’m looking forward to seeing what you made of The Coldest Girl In Coldtown. Happy Reading 🙂
Loved it, now I need to find the rest of Holly Black’s books 🙂
Forged in Dreams and Magick looks goooood. Will look forward to that review, along with Coldest Girl [which I loved, too]!

It was pretty dang fun actually 🙂
Finished that WWII book the other day, so it’s time to crack back on with David Copperfield again.
Or maybe I should delve in and have a peek into the world of sexy and fun time travel romps…
LOL! You never know, you might find a new genre 🙂
Oh by the way, hope you are enjoying your time off you lucky! 🙂
I’ve been doing loads of work in the garden, I’m flippin’ knackered.
Plus the gas man came round to read the meter, which meant I had to spend a good thirty seconds removing all the rubbish out from the cupboard under the stairs.
I loved The Coldest Girl…ending made me cry, which is really unusual for me with that genre. Now reading Hunted, by Kevin Hearne and The Better part of Darkness by Kelly Gay. I’m about half way through Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides, Pulitzer Prize winner, (2002?). I like it, but have to keep putting it down because the other books I am reading have to be returned quickly. My husband is on a quest to read every book on the Pulitzer Prize list,
So you are reading them right along with him? Or only the good ones? 🙂 Sorry to keep pushing you to the brain candy!
Keeping yourself busy I see! No fear of you not reading over the holidays haha
I only have the three books in mine, but I really am struggling to find the time to read these days

I had a really tough November so once I had a little time I went nuts 🙂 That is usually how it goes, all the obligations are met by the time Christmas rolls around so I can stuff my nose in my books – yay! Hope you find more time soon.
Glad to hear it 😀
Enjoy!
I am always awed by people who can read more than 1 book at a time……enjoy your books! 🙂
In this case one of them is a horror book in the mind of a serial killer, the Singh book brings me down of the horror adrenaline high so I can sleep at night 🙂 Necessary for survival – lol
hahaha….enjoy your adrenaline rush then! 😉
Interesting covers…ENJOY all your books and your week.

Ooh, very interesting sounding collection of books! Have to do some research on Goodreads now! 😀
Ooh, I have The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, but I have it in audio. I may have to take a break between Harry Potter books to listen to it. I’ve seen tons of people love it!
dark and twisted. Was great, hope you enjoy it too! 🙂
