WWW Wednesday 12/25

Merry Christmas to all you Christmas celebrators out there.  I decided to stay home instead of traveling to hang with family (scroogy maybe? – I don’t know, but I am having a lovely day off).

Anyway, what are you guys reading?  Normally we link up with MizB from ShouldBeReading, but she is taking the week off, so I am just keeping up with the reading list cause it is fun for me, and I have the time  🙂

blades of winternever againFinished this week were a few fun books: Blades of Winter (Shadowstorm, Bk1) by GT Almansi –  an alternative history, super spy book which had tons of crazy action and a hard as nails, yet funny heroine.  I also read Never Again (Wizards of Nevermore, Bk 1) by Michele Bardsley a paranormal romance, very fast read – almost too fast, I could have used a few more details, but I felt like a speedreader rockstar and enjoyed it.  I also finally read Tangle of Need (Psy/Changeling, Bk 12) by Nalini Singh – always a great series.

Currently reading: Still working on From a Killer’s Mind by Jason Helford, it is fascinating, but difficult reading for me. I get all tense and worked up and have to read something light (look at all the paranormal romance counterbalancing it).  I am also reading, you guessed it, a paranormal romance by Molly Harper, The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf (Bk 2) which is quite hilarious.

Next up: I read the first couple of chapters of Into the Deep by Missy Fleming which is a coming of age YA mermaid story.  Fun!  It starts out crazy and I am hopeful it keeps it up.

What are you guys reading this week?  Get any fun bookish prezzies today?  I received Hell Bent by Devon Monk and A Study in Silks by Emma Jane Holloway – so excited!

About ocdreader

I love to read! I always have a book or four going, I have more books in my to-be-read pile than I can read in a year and yet I continue to haunt the bookstores. I have a problem, but I somehow soldier on. I enjoy talking books, so pass on your recommendations and thoughts - I would love to hear them.
