I am getting my bootie back into shape. Yep, it isn’t a recent resolution, it has been a long time coming. I need to exercise a bit each week and I decided jogging would work for me. I don’t know why, I don’t really like it and my face gets tomato red within a few steps, so I don’t look like a jogger – you know those effortless runners you just want to trip as they float by with their quiet little breaths? Not me.
But, the way to make it fun is to sign up for the plethora of fun runs that are currently available. I am doing the Run or Dye early next month, where they throw powdered color all over everyone. My lungs are going to be rainbow colored after that craziness. But the one I REALLY want someone to run with me is this one…The Claremont Zombie Run.
Anyone local want to run and evade the zombies with me? Saturday May 3rd. Basically they have you run through a maze in the botanical garden and the zombies try to steal the flags you have hanging from your body…so it is zombie flag football! Just the football are your brains or something. You will be fine if you can jog just a little bit faster than I do…lol
