WWW Wednesday 1/29

Happy Wednesday!  Play along with MizB and link up at ShouldBeReading or just answer the following below.  What have you finished, What are you currently reading and What is up next?

unclean spiritshow to run naked werewolfI finished a couple of books this week.  How to Run with a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper which was another silly, easy, happy paranormal romance for the series.  Gods & Monsters: Unclean Spirits by Chuck Wendig which was dark and violent and so thoroughly fascinating.  AND I am so close to finished with Into the Deep by Missy Fleming I am going to count it cause I think will read into the night…

caged warriorhold me closer necromancerI am currently reading Caged Warrior by Lindsey Piper.  I left it at my friend’s house on Friday night and so I got derailed.  It is violent and rough but so good and I need to get over there to pick it up cause I am dying to finish it.  In the meanwhile I am reading Tall, Dark and Dead by Tate Hallaway.  Just started so I can’t tell you much.

Next up I think will be either Hold Me Closer Necromancer by Lish McBride or maybe Soulbound by Tessa Adams.  We will see!

What are you reading this week?

About ocdreader

I love to read! I always have a book or four going, I have more books in my to-be-read pile than I can read in a year and yet I continue to haunt the bookstores. I have a problem, but I somehow soldier on. I enjoy talking books, so pass on your recommendations and thoughts - I would love to hear them.

  1. I’m thundering through The Great Gatsby at the moment.

S’okay, and the writing is good, but I’m not really sure what all the fuss is about. Mind you if it was set during WWII I’d probably be loving it.

I saw Harper’s book somewhere else online recently. Sounds like a different take on what is usually a serious genre.

Hope you’ll visit me today at http://thebookconnectionccm.blogspot.com/2014/01/wwwwednesdays-january-29th.html

Yea, there are a bunch of silly/funny romance mixed with scary alpha shifters these days and the Harper ones are a good example. Makes the rough and tumble a lot lighter 🙂

  3. Chuck Wendig is one of those great examples of ‘online presence doesn’t necessarily mean book sales’ for me, since I’ve enjoyed his blog for a long time and have never read his books. Same with Scalzi. Same was true of Jim Hines until I read his first Libriomancer book a few months ago, and loved it.

  4. Kwizgiver says:

The Lish McBride book sounds really interesting. One thing I love about W.W.W. Wednesdays is the variety of books I would never have heard of.

  5. How to Run with a Naked Werewolf sound a fun read….happy reading! 🙂

I like the sound of caged Warrior. I always wanted to read the naked werewolf series.

Some scary looking books here! Hehe, hope you enjoy 🙂

I’m thinking about that title, How to Run With a Naked Werewolf. I read it first as How to Run Naked with a Werewolf, but I think that’s because I never considered it possible for werewolves to be naked.

  9. My blogging BFF Jac loves those Molly Harper books. I may have to give them a try. Happy reading!
