WWW Wednesday 7/2

Happy July and Happy Wednesday!  Play along with our host MizB and let us know what you have been reading this past week, what did you finish, what are you currently reading and what is up next (if you know).

end is nighmidnight blue lightI finished a couple of things, The End is Nigh, a group of short stories that all lead up to various world ending events.  Very creative if a little depressing and scary to read about so many ways to end civilization as we know it.  I also finished River Road (Sentinels of New Orleans, Bk 2) by Suzanne Johnson.  This series is getting fun and really makes me want to get back to NOLA before too long.  AND I read Midnight Blue Light Special by Seanan McGuire.  I love that series.

this crumbling pageantI am currently reading This Crumbling Pageant by Patricia Burroughs, I charged and dusted off my kindle and am super glad I did because it seems like I am going to have a lot of fun reading this.  I am also reading The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan, it happened while the kindle was charging…sneaky book.

Next up, not sure!  I would like to finally read Scarlet by Marissa Meyer or Half Off Ragnarok by Seanan McGuire but who knows.

What are you reading this week?

About ocdreader

I love to read! I always have a book or four going, I have more books in my to-be-read pile than I can read in a year and yet I continue to haunt the bookstores. I have a problem, but I somehow soldier on. I enjoy talking books, so pass on your recommendations and thoughts - I would love to hear them.

I’ve wanted to read Seanan McGuire for a long time but am not much into urban fantasy unless it’s in a UK setting. However, New Orleans? That may get me to try it out.

I hope you enjoy This Crumbling Pageant!

The End is Nigh, does sound interesting but I can see how it would be depressing. The title makes me giggle.

Don't be shy!
